Chickpea cookie dough thingo’s!
I know it sounds funny but they really did have a cookie dough flavour and texture that’s sort of addictive! *side note they should have looked better then this but my blender didnt blend very well so i had whole chickpeas in their which didnt taste bad at all surprisingly for a sweet treat.
1 can of chickpeas
165g cashew paste (you want to use a smooth brand if you dont make it yourself like macro, the courser pastes many not work out at well)
2 teaspoons of vanilla extract
1/4 cup of maple syrup
1 teaspoon baking powder
pinch of seasalt
Combine all the ingredients in a blender and blend until well combined (or as good as you can get it, mine didn’t combine the best but still tasted really good).
Your oven should be at 180C and using damp hands as the mixture is extremely sticky roll into balls as well as you can, roughly to the size of golf balls and place on a slightly greased piece of baking paper (you can flatten out more if you desire a more cookie like effect but take note they do not rise and spread like normal cookies). Bake for about 10 minutes then cool.
hey-presto! chickpeas are really good to getting rid of belly fat but still enjoy in moderation if you eat 50 of these in a row it kind of out weighs the goodness of them. ;)
